C.P. Bangladesh Co. Ltd. (Chuadanga Feed Mill) in Chuadanga Sadar, Chuadanga

In 1805, an Englishman, Mr. John Maxwell, started his only liquor factory at Jaggun in Kanpur, India by his earnest efforts. Then, at the time of the interval, its name, location, ownership, production and business activities were changing and amplified. In 1847 Mr. Robert Russell Keru joined the company on the basis of partnership and bought it over time. The factory was damaged during the Sepoy Revolution in 1857 in the northern part of India. Then it was reorganized after the establishment of Joint Stock Company and named as 'Keru & Co. Ltd.'. As the business progressed in 'Rosa', its branches were established in Asansol and Katni. In 1938, one more branch was initially used to create 1000 tons of sugarcane crushing and 18 thousand proof liters of spirit in that day, and then it was adopted in this philosophy of Nadia district. After the war of 1965, it became an enemy property. In the year 1968, the government's attempt to hand over the management of Keru and Co. After the independence of Bangladesh, the organization was nationalized and since then it has been operated under the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation named Keru and Co.
